Pigment and Paper is an independent editorial publication about watercolor painting. It is written and edited by the Pigment and Paper editorial team. Hosting

The site is served as a static website through Cloudflare Pages, on Cloudflare's global network. No application server stores reader data. Pages are generated in advance and delivered as files.

Personal data

Pigment and Paper does not ask readers to create an account, does not run a comment system, and does not set advertising or tracking cookies of its own. The only personal data the editors receive is what a reader chooses to send by email, and it is used solely to answer that message. Email sent to the editorial address is kept only as long as needed to deal with the correspondence. A reader who wants a message removed can ask, and it will be deleted.

Cookies and analytics

The site itself does not place cookies. The hosting network may process standard technical information, such as the requested address and the browser type, in order to deliver pages and to protect the service against abuse. This information is used in aggregate and is not used by the editors to identify individual readers.
