Blue Bark - Strong forms and strong textures distinguish this painting. The late day light turns the gray bark blue against the golden autumn leaves. Included in Weiss' solo exhibition in the Uihlein-Peters Gallery in Milwaukee, WI, 2005 and in the University of Minnesota Regis Center for Art "Waterborne" Invitational exhibition in 2008. The image is 40" x 26", mounted on off-white linen and framed in muted ash, 47" x 33".
